During the winter of 2020 I lived in Southend-on-Sea.
When the second lockdown hit and the digital signs along the seafront warded away visitors, I was one of the fortunate ones who could walk down their street to the beach.
I began taking my iPad with me and making these digital paintings of what I saw there.
